The Village Bus

Connecting the community

The Villager Community Bus is an established scheduled service operating in parts of Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire and Warwickshire.  We operate with five buses and our main routes are through some of the smaller North Cotswolds villages and towns with the primary aim of serving those communities for which other means of transport are either difficult or non-existent.

In addition to regular services, we also hire buses with driver for activities such as social occasions, school runs and sports events.

London Mainline Train

Connecting to the Big Smoke

Just a few miles down the road in our neighbouring village Kingham, there is a train station with a mainline service direct to London Paddington, stopping at Oxford. In the other direction the service goes out to Worcester and Malvern or Hereford.

It takes an average of 1h 33m to travel from Kingham to London Paddington by train, over a distance of around 68 miles (109 km). There are normally 32 trains per day travelling this route and tickets start from only £5 when you book in advance.
