The Chequers Pub is at the heart of the village. A bustling rustic freehouse pub. Not only is it the place for great food and drink but it is also the venue for many village activities, family lunches, evening dinners, live music, Christmas and New Year’s Eve festivities and so on.
As well as the fantastic restaurant it also has a comfortable bar area and lovely outdoor terrace which is a welcoming place to meet friends for a drink and a chat. A variety of locally brewed real ale and lager, are always on tap and a wide choice of wines and other drinks are available.
